Loote and Zarief’s story began in the lively heart of the Netherlands, where they first met while studying for their bachelor’s degree in chemistry. From being classmates to becoming best friends, their connection grew stronger with every lecture, coffee break, and late-night study session. Then, on a lovely spring day—May 20th, 2015—their friendship blossomed into something more.

On May 28th, 2025, in the breathtaking setting of Enagron in Crete, Loote and Zarief said their vows in a ceremony inspired by nature. Their wedding in Rethymno, Crete beautifully mirrored their journey: heartfelt, elegant, and timeless. With soft shades of pale blue and peach, the atmosphere felt like a gentle nod to their past and a warm welcome to their future. Following the ceremony, they enjoyed a cozy dinner under the Cretan sky, celebrating not just their love but the incredible story they had crafted together.
